In the grimm darkness of the far future there is only Ork … Erm… Waaagh! I mean, war. Still, none of this is far from truth actually what you’ll see in this game. Continue reading
The Alliance and the capital of Stormwind had their troubles, but when the unknown tide begins to rise, colored in green by a magic called Fel, the threat of war emerges as the unknown race called the Orcs invade the lands of Azeroth. This is the movie that goes into the story of those events and to be honest – it’s good. Continue reading
After so many title announcements of Marvel movies throughout the following years one would think that sooner or later some are sure to fail. That still might happen but thankfully, it is still not the case. The new Captain America sequel, Civil War represents a bold new direction made in a right way. A development done right in various different forms… Continue reading
I’ve been playing HearthStone ever since the game released and I enjoy it on primarily on casual level (despite having some of pretty competitive decks). In my eyes it is a game that simply contains way too much luck involved to ever be able to considered as properly competitive. Taking it seriously would be silly if you ask me. It is just for fun, and speaking of fun – the latest Tavern Brawl challenge was pretty crazy. Two cards limit resulted in some of the most overpowered combos this game has ever seen.
Finally after so many days and months of being in the dark while others got their glimpses at Comic-Con and other exclusive selected showings, the official Rogue One Teaser Trailer has finally been made available to the rest of us mortals. Here are some of my impressions and thoughts on what I’ve seen in it and how it looks in the eyes of a fan that’s been with this universe ever since the originals. Rogue One reporting in! One of the most complex, dynamic and fun strategy games is finally complete. For all the Protoss fans, this was the one long anticipated. As the shadow of the fallen god Amon falls over the galaxy no one is safe. While the Terrans fight among themselves and the others, while the Zerg is swarming across the galaxy obeying their Queen (still in identity crisis) it falls to the Firstborn to set the fate of the galaxy. Little they know of the future that awaits them as they still struggle to survive and reclaim their lost homeworld of Aiur. Continue reading
The first reactions of The Force Awakens were mostly positive and some even pretty overwhelming. That being said, the backlash and the reactions to reactions further on, were inevitable. A week after the movie hit the cinemas the first analysis and other various media has hit the web. There is plenty of story analysis and interesting fan theories, but there are also some ultimately pointless and attention grabbing videos that are only focused on the negative aspects of the movie which acts like hellbent to ruin it for those who liked it. You can find that same kind of people that comment around the internet and it’s pretty ironic when you think about it, because most of them think they’re smarter for being aware of the flaws in the movie and they’ll gladly let you know that, when in reality, the sole focus on certain aspects of the movie limits them from the bigger picture which makes them ignorant and plain stupid.
I’m aware that The Force Awakens has it’s flaws but guess what – No movie is perfect and certainly no Star Wars movie is perfect. We’re not the fans because we think those movies are perfect, we’re the fans because we like them despite their flaws, because there are always plenty of things that makes that Galaxy Far Far Away for what it is, and we are wise enough to acknowledge that. The Force Awakens is certainly no exception. Continue reading
