One of the most complex, dynamic and fun strategy games is finally complete. For all the Protoss fans, this was the one long anticipated. As the shadow of the fallen god Amon falls over the galaxy no one is safe. While the Terrans fight among themselves and the others, while the Zerg is swarming across the galaxy obeying their Queen (still in identity crisis) it falls to the Firstborn to set the fate of the galaxy. Little they know of the future that awaits them as they still struggle to survive and reclaim their lost homeworld of Aiur. Continue reading
The first reactions of The Force Awakens were mostly positive and some even pretty overwhelming. That being said, the backlash and the reactions to reactions further on, were inevitable. A week after the movie hit the cinemas the first analysis and other various media has hit the web. There is plenty of story analysis and interesting fan theories, but there are also some ultimately pointless and attention grabbing videos that are only focused on the negative aspects of the movie which acts like hellbent to ruin it for those who liked it. You can find that same kind of people that comment around the internet and it’s pretty ironic when you think about it, because most of them think they’re smarter for being aware of the flaws in the movie and they’ll gladly let you know that, when in reality, the sole focus on certain aspects of the movie limits them from the bigger picture which makes them ignorant and plain stupid.
I’m aware that The Force Awakens has it’s flaws but guess what – No movie is perfect and certainly no Star Wars movie is perfect. We’re not the fans because we think those movies are perfect, we’re the fans because we like them despite their flaws, because there are always plenty of things that makes that Galaxy Far Far Away for what it is, and we are wise enough to acknowledge that. The Force Awakens is certainly no exception. Continue reading
There’s been an awakening, and I left the theater dizzy. The impact of this movie is one to be remembered. On the one hand it’s everything the fans were hoped it would be, but on the other hand there’s alot of it to take in, for a single movie. However, the danger is gone. There were so many ways it all could have gone wrong but rest easy because ever since the 80’s the Star Wars is finally a STAR WARS again!
This is the part where I start covering books that are officially canon. From the very first serious act of rebellion to the very peak of the Empire’s might, crowned by the construction of the Death Star to the very events that lead directly into the story of The Force Awakens!
After the Old Republic and the Bane trilogy time has come to review something from the clone wars end to the very beginnings of the great Galactic Empire. From Plagueis to Vader…
Right after I’ve seen the second official teaser trailer I was immediately inspired to make some combination of those two. Plus I added some little flashbacks to connect the whole current canon together. It was important to me to include only official footage, because I am too eager to see more of it in the future. Continue reading
If the first teaser trailer was missing something rest assured, this one delivered at most. The very first shot is literally like taken from one of my fan fictions. The mighty Star Destroyer crashed, rusted and embraced in the warmth of the dry sand, weathered but not forgotten. Just like some old relic. Better yet, we discover that the desert planet in fact is not Tatooine. Thank the force! Continue reading
