I’ve decided to start a new YouTube channel as an official name for the videos such as those I made on my current channel with the potential to grow into something more. It is a slightly different format as it covers complete stories in a new, more consistent way. Continue reading
A lot has happened since the last post, but mostly in a good way. I was working on new gaming videos and a channel started to thrive. There are some single videos as well as the complete series of game videos online, so let’s get to it! Continue reading
In this special article I’ m taking the opportunity to review 9 books surrounding the events around Rogue One and The Force Awakens era. It is my assessment as a fan for those interested to tell which ones are more or less vital for reading regarding the Star Wars canon and what kind of secrets do they hold. From Ahsoka novel set after the Clone Wars to Catalyst leading into Rogue One novel to numerous pieces set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
While The Force Awakens gave us a new hope for the Star Wars episodes and sequels, Rogue One represented a new hope (pun intended) for the prequels as well as standalone movie stories alike. Can we have separate stories that whether tie some of the episodes or stand on their own, shown on the big screen? Rogue One says yes! The barrier is pushed and the doors to the expanded Star Wars universe are officially opened for the cinematic experience. As stories are told, the questions will be answered. The first one being: How did the rebels get the plans for the Death Star? Well now you have it. Enter Rogue One: A Star Wars story.
Finally after so many days and months of being in the dark while others got their glimpses at Comic-Con and other exclusive selected showings, the official Rogue One Teaser Trailer has finally been made available to the rest of us mortals. Here are some of my impressions and thoughts on what I’ve seen in it and how it looks in the eyes of a fan that’s been with this universe ever since the originals. Rogue One reporting in! The first reactions of The Force Awakens were mostly positive and some even pretty overwhelming. That being said, the backlash and the reactions to reactions further on, were inevitable. A week after the movie hit the cinemas the first analysis and other various media has hit the web. There is plenty of story analysis and interesting fan theories, but there are also some ultimately pointless and attention grabbing videos that are only focused on the negative aspects of the movie which acts like hellbent to ruin it for those who liked it. You can find that same kind of people that comment around the internet and it’s pretty ironic when you think about it, because most of them think they’re smarter for being aware of the flaws in the movie and they’ll gladly let you know that, when in reality, the sole focus on certain aspects of the movie limits them from the bigger picture which makes them ignorant and plain stupid.
I’m aware that The Force Awakens has it’s flaws but guess what – No movie is perfect and certainly no Star Wars movie is perfect. We’re not the fans because we think those movies are perfect, we’re the fans because we like them despite their flaws, because there are always plenty of things that makes that Galaxy Far Far Away for what it is, and we are wise enough to acknowledge that. The Force Awakens is certainly no exception. Continue reading
There’s been an awakening, and I left the theater dizzy. The impact of this movie is one to be remembered. On the one hand it’s everything the fans were hoped it would be, but on the other hand there’s alot of it to take in, for a single movie. However, the danger is gone. There were so many ways it all could have gone wrong but rest easy because ever since the 80’s the Star Wars is finally a STAR WARS again!
